Hi! First post, so sorry if I do something wrong. I ordered a relic a few weeks ago that is said to be from a B17F crush site in England, but I'm having problems identifying it. It was said to be from a magneto, but I cant find anything that matches the schismatics that Ive seen. Its strange in that the gear is made of something other than metal. Ive talked to someone else about it and they think it maybe part of a turret motor. It almost appears to be comprised wood or maybe bakelite? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
