    Lancaster VR-R, KB772 (R for Ropey), 419 Squadron RCAF.

    Yep..
    Looks like twin P-40's. I like the look. Why didn't they do more of these?? Very Intimidating to the enemy, in my opinion.

    It looks really intimidating!

    I can't imagine how good this picture would have been in colour.

    Of all the British Shark Mouth I've see, this is probably the closest or even exact looking as the U.S. Shark Mouth.

    The rear thing about it it's on a bomber, a FOUR ENGINED BRITISH BOMBER !!! I don' t recall seeing a U.S. Bomber with Shark Mouth painted on the engines.

    Wonder if they were done by members from the 14th AF or AKA "Flying Tigers".

    Shark or tiger mouth in US service on bombers and a single more harmless plane though not on the nacelles:
