Very good.
I can recommend the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw if you like artwork. They have some great painting on display.
Cheers, Ade.

I believe that a few paintings like this are in the Sikosrski Institute in London.
The piper painting has been reproduced in a number of publications.

Nice. Thanks Andzejku.
Very Nice - thank you for sharing.
Not a portrait as such, but an illustration from a book that somebody had mounted in a frame at some time:
Hello Leigh,

I have also added some of the Paintings from the Sikorski for you to view:

I hope you like what I have posted.
Best wishes

Thanks, the image is obviously one of those that reverts back to its original orientation when posted, my post wasn't showing at all when I logged out so I failed to spot the problem - there should also have been a scan of the description of the figures.
I really enjoyed looking at these pictures.
My father served in the Second Polish Corps British 8th Army. I am hoping to learn more about the Polish military from 1918 to 1945. Presently I am working on restoring two Gew 98 Mausers which had been left in Poland after the creation of the Polish state.
Regards,
BWB
