Here is another for review and comment:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
This cap is authentic, but has a silly cap cord and a stripped badge/Hoheitszeichen. Otherwise, it is an August Mueller Sonderanfertigung of the year 1937, with the tell tale "143" stamp on the sweat band, which is found on many others.
The cap does not deserve to be stuck here among so many fakes, in fact.
It is not an especially attractive piece, but it is quite real.
I agree, the above one was a hard one for the masses to discern.
This one should be easier:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Do let me say this as concerns "masses," and do not construe such wrongly. Most of the people on the WAF have never seen any authentic black SS regalia; those that have seldom extend their knowledge to the benefit of others; the cap in post 123 is plainly authentic, but in a poor state of preservation. It needs to be restored. The newly posted piece is a common fake that has been mangled somehow.
The Arnim Greiner is an old Janke, in any case.

Alright, people, I am not getting a lot of partcipation other than F-B. This one should be easy:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”

This one will be harder:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
From your images, both caps are authentic, but I would not want to generalize about the badges with these images. The top cap is in the pre-late 1935 configuration, and I am not sure of the tag, but the tag fits the cap (Tuch vs Trikot)
the second cap is a late made Lubstein cap. It is authentic.
These images are not very clear and I will not dilate further on my criteria in all details.
Much of this is shadow boxing of a not especially edifying sort, really.
