Army Calvary Officer Visor Hat authentication

I have been looking at buying a German officer visor as a class gift for my teacher, and we found one on OakfieldMilitaria.com, this hat is 0911h6, I know its high priced but I was just wondering if anyone knew if this site is reliable, or if this hat is real or not.

Nice, authentic cap, but waaaay overpriced, IMHO. Nice cavalry officer caps can be found for less than $1,000, if you search hard enough.
Dealers like this one are usually going to have items priced quite high, and not reflective of the current market, where prices for common items have fallen.

I would add that unless you specifically want a cavalry cap, look at infantry ( white piping) or artillery ( bright red piping), as they are the most common caps, and typically the least expensive combat branches. Plenty of them out there.
