    An early style I believe. Around 1935ish I think. Don't take my word for it, wait for the visor gurus to chime in. Don't quote me on authenticity, I'm not that well versed in visors just yet.

    Yes, I would agree--it appears to be an Erel.

    55, try holding it at different angles under a light, and see if you can detect an imprint of the Erel logo.

    Does it have card pasteboard inside the cap or is it flexible buckram?

    They really are not the most attractive visors, but they do have their own uniqueness.

    I'm actually fond of leather peaks, especially on the earlier NSDAP caps.
