    The badge is a post-war Bavarian fire brigade insignia (as worn on caps and tunic collars).

    Yes, Thanks...I knew it was a postwar fireman's badge...
    Depending on the Poster, it's an M43 Panzer Cap for one and merely a Firefighter's Cap for another...
