To me it looks deliberately ‘weathered’, rather than worn, and (as an Army cap), would far more likely have been made from an olive green fabric than tan.
By all means wait for more expert views than mine, however...

Putting aside the insignia (which are bad IMHO) I'm not liking the basic cap as well. But will leave it to others.

An Officers Cap should have metallic piping for one thing, the wear looks contrived with special attention going to the eyelets, which are a usual tell on these hats. It looks like it was made to fool the uninformed collector.
