Welcome to the Forum Mill , I would suggest posting this in the SS headgear section , these were former SS hats I believe .
The interior condemns it as fake.

No original looks like that! As Chris says, read the forum. We have more pictures of original caps than any other site.

As I said , I believe originals were black SS caps , repurposed after the war began , and sent occupied territories for use by collaborationist . This should either have an early SS interior or some I believe were made in country . Sorry for your bad news .
