Hi,
I found that visor online and wonder what it is. I got some feedback on it being civil visor with postal emblem on the band as well Pekuro type shield is 1950s style. The top emblem looks to be DLV.
What is it and what period ?
Thanks !

No DLV. In my opinion a put together cap!
Postwar visor with a Reichpost wreath / cockade....
Another messed-up fantasy piece.
Some people like messing-up historic items to make some money out of it
I saw an identical visor for sale at the Ruptered Duck recently , that one had a Polizei cap eagle + cockade applied , together with a bull-sh*t description to make it look like an ultra-rare ," never encountered before " cap
It happens more and more..........
Be warned.....
Thanks and I had a strange feeling about that one.
As noted a 1950s or beyond Kupper cap that has been nazified. We have such wise people here, indeed. A pleasure to see.

Mr. Mint has made a pile of post 1945 Kupper caps some where in his archives that are secured here.
Found the visor , here's the link :
WW2 German Luftwaffe DLV Pilot Cap Peküro Deutsch Reich Patent Size 60 Mint KÖLN | eBay
For your information , this is how a DLV visor should look like :
"Motorflieger"
"Segelflieger"
thanks everybody !
