Is this post insulting somehow, is the hat so bad that it was foolish of me to post for authentication, or is it just me?

The beginner has a priceless resource here, since we all embrace new collectors, especially if they understand and accept the principles of how this site works.

Those who have trouble with how we want to conduct business then have a less profitable stay here.

Busy with family etc so forum time is limited!

Bear in mind Police is a limited collecting niche and not many people specialise in it. I don't collect it....

I am not overly keen on this one.

Looks to me like some other trapzoid insignia was once on it?

Good eye, I see a the outline of a trapezoid insignia to the left of the existing one. I wish I'd been able to get correct pics of this one, but sadly not possible.
