I got this with another fake. I'm assuming this one is too. How about you guys? Can definitely see the front patch has been changed out at some point. How about the SS stamp inside?

You assumption is 100% correct.
The SS stamp is terrible friend. I hope you didn't put much money in this piece.

All the stuff I have posted so far came from my German landord. I still need a back story on all this but she said it all used to be her Uncle's. So I'm assuming a lot of it was "real" but he or another family member messed with it all.
