    In the photos the piping certainly looks patchy as though hand-coloured rather than dyed through. Maybe in the photography without seeing it in the flesh.

    I think I recall this cap being listed on a website with a mixed reputation. Said website also has what looks like a half bogus white top SS cap...

    I can only agree with the previous posters that the cap waffenfarbe has been recolored.

    Yes I have seen this visor also it was offered to me but the piping just did not sit well with me, Why someone would do this is beyond me when Infantry is more disable.

    Looks a re-colour to me as well.

    Hands on look to pinch back the piping would probably resolve the matter. The piping never gets dyed all the way through due to the way that it is sown onto the cap in my experience.

    Hey-ho ! What a shame.

    Caveat Emptor on this one.
