Dear Friend, you know me, and you know that this song is closest to my heart. I worry about the agitating dental assistant and all his chums
finding a tooth brush for me to clean the sidewalk in the Leopoldstadt when the time comes.
I should refrain from politics, and here are some pictures of SS caps. Without an endorsement of odious politics.
Also, the Atwood Breuer and whatever caps were not very well made and this cheapness is most visible in the guts of the cap, as I indicate here.
Mr. Mint can give us a tutorial here, as he follows these fakes much, much more closely than do I.
A noted author tried to foist one of these off on my in the late 1990s, with a bald face lie that made me very angry.

The insignia looks like an late-war Assman manufactured type Tk and eagle .
These were used on fake caps but are original . Good luck
The crap is cap (& vice-versa). It was being dumped on Ebay a few months ago, and then disappeared.
Whoever has it is really shopping it around--I had 4 emails this past week on this same hat.
Here it is from the Ebay listing:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
& if I may ask, what is the current asking price for this hat?
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
It sold on sight at auction in Colorado for 1700.00 US .
Raz
He made more $$$ selling it there than on Ebay (where it had a $950 "buy it now" price)
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
