I actually handled this cap a couple of days back, and I believe it to be a good one, although these photos make it look a bit lighter
in colour than it really is, the sweatband isn't leather, it is a cloth type, but I think this is a good senior NCO or officer's private purchase
cap, thus the finer wool body, and the silver wire eagle insignia.
The cap came from a collector in Sydney who once collected GJ items, and the cap came with this lovely Oberst fully ornamented 4 pocket
tunic as well. The colour of this tunic (taken with the same camera by the person who is selling them) is a bit lighter than it really is too.
