If you already own the cap I will gladly offer some opinion on my reservations about it if that will help.

I have bought from Klaus Peter Emig before so know the website and as a rule his items are good.

This one gives me concern as the inside looks like it has been messed with, outside appearance is good but the tells are in the inside. The celluloid looks plastic to me, blousing inside looks like it has been re worked (badly) and the swastika in the middle is way off any military cap I have ever seen.

Imo it is a Frankenstein ie reworked cap, with original insignia and chinstrap. The stitching is very clumsy on the peak repair and the sweatband looks like it was re-fitted also.................

Just my opinion and I may well be wrong. I hope I am mistaken and this post has not ruined your day.

Others will hopefully come in and let you know their opinions.
