I remember seeing a similar emblem placed onto a steel helmet that other members said was a fake/ "4th Reich Garbage". I really don't know much about all of this just yet... but I'm eager to hear what others have to say

It looks original save for the missing cockade, chinstrap and fittings. Take a look at this for what it should be like in A1 condition.

The cap is ok. It is just the eagle that wurry's me, it might be original, but not sure it have always been on that shako.

Complete they will go from 300 up to 500 euro depending the condition. To me thise one, as it is 150 to 200 euro.

Original, but in poor condition. Finding parts will not be easy. To me, not worth the effort. These Tschakos are common, and you should be able to pick one up with all the Effekten in the $500 range.

its nice just practically impossible to find origional parts even repros will be hard maybe at tops £200 for the cap

A very nice one that is!
When it come up for a low price, I might be tempted as wel. But if they ask more then half the price of what a mint one would cost I would wait until that mint one shows up.
I am looking for one myself, but when you see prices like 400 euro and more for one that doesn't have his inner liner it stops.
