For those less informed, the interior of the cap is a mangled Kupper/Wuppertal Ronsdorf, the firm which had its own velvet gusset forehead free pressure thingy in its high quality caps. This one is made of bits and pieces from over the rainbow.

What is more needed than inside-base-ball-cute games are some tutorials to the less informed about the traits of caps, and also, mind you, without all the errors as had on the other site. That is, some attempt to integrate the check list and money shots of the inner lining......(?!) with some of the knowledge that certain of us have busted our a&&es to arrange in certain threads. Our goal here is to educate those who know less, and playing funny and puerile games does not accomplish this goal. Knowledge is balkanized enough as it is, and is made more so by seizing on an aspect and distorting it.

The game playing and the sh!ts and giggles is for the other site.

One does well to re-read the Herstellungsvorschriften of the RZM as to the definition of Stirndrueckfrei, as it surely is not as elaborate as the later artifices of such firms as Kupper or Lubstein.....
