Have been offered a Waffen SS EM Visor, only picture is attached as soon as I get it for review I will post more pictures. Would still appreciate any comments based on the attache picture i.e. metal etc.

One look at the headband scale and the insignia, even from this distance (not to mention the chinstrap) would strongly suggest a composite or fake of some sort.

I hope that you get some decent pictures of it, but based on that one. I wouldn't walk away....................I'd run

The peak looks far too high and out of proportion, and for sure the insignia is bad

JMO probably wrong

Horst, it is a re-built Army cap. First of all, that style sweatband was not used by Pekuro. Second, the hat advertised Pekuro's patented Stirndruckfrei system (ie, the velvet) which isn't present on this cap. The pleats are incorrect for Pekuro. Right above the eagles head is a mark/discoloration from prior insignia. Sorry, but it is a Frankenstein.
