Here is an example of a genuine RZM pattern ski cap. As you can see, the RZM label is faded from continual sweat and cleaning of the cap. I have owned three of these over the years and all hat the membership style pin afixed to the front. Neither of the previous posted caps are authentic examples. The form of buckle on the front is unique to the original caps. This cap is part of a complete uniform of a Reiter HJ who was killed in Poland in the early days of the war in 1939. I bought it off Ebay years ago from the man's sister who in her old age wanted it to go to a good home and not be thrown out.
