Holding the visor in hand right now comparing to these photos Stone..... My visor is made differently than both of these. If you look, both of the ones you posted are constructed the same, just about... my visor lacks these details... Strap "pinned" higher on "fakes", sew points on sweat band different, numbering style different, color is of course different (material is close to the same - wool), brim is different - round points etc, and my "strap" is very brittle, compared to what looks like very "sturdy" straps..... These are curious..... However, real insignia and the construction of this visor has me to believe this visor is good, right now..... If anyone can prove that wrong, in a credible way - I'm game....

I would return the cap as I am sure it was not cheap. Any equipment for the AHS fell under the auspicous of the Reichszugmeisterei. The fakers slip up on items like this as they do not do their homework.

No problems here. Mainly bummed the visor got me and others. But that's the nature of our hobby. A dang shame!....
I got good credit with the previous owner.
Thanks to the forum for keeping me straight, as even I can be stubborn on some things. Go figure. Haha
However - you can still bet I'll be stubborn on other things!... Haha
Cheers up - this next shot of whiskey is for you WarRelics!...... Duff
