    German merchant marine? just a guess but fits the style more than any mil KM I have seen. timothy

    These caps are meant to have been inspired the Kriegsmarine caps, but I am pretty sure that they are commercial items. Looks like someone has just attached a badge to this one (can't comment on the authenticity of the badge). If you put the name on the label into google you will find more info. Not a military or merchant marine piece IMO.

    The Prince Heinrich Cap is a generic civilian yachtsmans cap which has been around for over 150 years, originating with the Kaiserlichen Yacht Club formed in 1862. You could go to any yachting marina in Germany today and still find these caps being worn. Popular with former sailors too but nothing to do with the Kriegsmarine.
