I ahve still a lot to learn about German militaria in WW2....a friend of mine asked my opinion about this cap which was belonging to his father.
I have the overall feeling it is a fake : shape, maker...., please can you share your opinion ?

Right you are, judging from the sweatband I'd say a Janke, the Russian cap-cords are pure phantasy.
