Luftwaffe Cap Good or Bad?

Hi folks,
Could someone in the know lop their eye over this ww2? Luftwaffe cap and tell me if it's a good one or a bad one.
I apologies for the photo's "there not very good" and the cap is a bit dusty to say the least.

This is the fake with the delicious pigskin sweatband that show up on ebay time to time. They seem to all be from the same seller and he also has SS versions and KM tellermützen. I also think he had some fake jäger zu pferde helmets at one time.

I'm looking to purchase an authentic one, can you tell me what I should be looking for.
I've got a couple of good books with loads of illustrations in but at the end of the day they don't tell you how to spot a fake.

You should get Gary Wilkins book on clothheadgear. It covers luftwaffe caps. Also look on the WAF e-stand, there is some luftwaffe caps there at the moment.

You may search in the classifieds section! If you don't find anything that suits you then try "The Collector's Guild" (a bit expensive but guaranteed original items) and then try "Oakleaf Militaria" and "eMedals Militaria"... You will definately find what you're looking for!
