Luftwaffe DAK cap & Soldbuch
Hello all,
The insignia is strange on this cap and I wanted to get some opinions. Is this a foreign produced example? It is very different in construction compared to the Berolina cap I have here and is much more lightweight. If you look at the sides of the caps, it almost looks like it had some pins attached to it, much like a hate-belt would have. Can anyone tell from the profile what the pins were if that's what I'm looking at? I don't know the history of this cap, though it did come with the Soldbuch of the soldier it supposedly belonged to, I have no reason to dispute this. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
