    Default Luftwaffe general visor?

    Hello,

I was offered this visor cap by a seller who thinks it might be the real deal, but also admitted that he could not prove it is a real one.
The backstory is quite funky : it was supposidly acquired end of the 40's by a film studio from a warehouse with tons of other hats, uniforms&co, and used as a movie prop in soviet propaganda movies. Current owner said he bought it when the studio went bankrupt in 1992 after the end of cold war with other fancy stuff.
What do you think? If it is a repro, it looks quite well made.

If it was a film studio prop, it would not be unworn as this one is. IMO

Sorry if my question sounds stupid, but what is a Janke repro?
I of course had some doubts considering the "low" price requested and the fact it looks quite "fresh"

Had the same thought, but I wanted still to have some opinions. He prétends it was barely used, which made me a little bit suspicious^^

Mr. Mint has also made a pile of these repro caps to examine.

Also, look at actual Lubstein caps from the epoch as a comparison.
