I saw this cap on sale, the eagle looks original, could be a fake?

Doesn't look like anything i've ever seen before. I don't think even a Post WW2 Luftwaffe cap would look that Cheap.

total junk, a very bad fake and they have even forgotten to give the bird a bloody swastika.....useless.

More likely they cut off the swastika to try and make it look like a de-natzified original.

I saw it on sale at EBAY.DE, someone payed 190€ for it, I glad it wasn´t me :-)

I´m still learning how to recognize an original, do you know were can I but an original luftwaffe cap for a reasonable price?

In today's collector world, there are no super bargains for quality original material If you are serious, it is far wiser to buy from a well respected dealer such as Bill Shea or the Collectors Guild. Quality knowledge can not be gained simply by looking at pictures on your screen. Owning, handling and in hand study of your own unquestionable hat is the only way to learn. There are no shortcuts to knowledge.
