All comes down to asking price and chance of being original. Personnaly I love to gamble with this stuff, 99% of my collection came from talking a risky but educated guess.
Probably not good advice!

Thank you for your input, Ben. I try not to advise on authenticity unless I'm 100% sure.
I just hope this was not directed at me either as I never made judgment on its authenticity and had no intention of as I'm still learning. I was merely pointing out that the presence of moth holes should not be a determining factor in whether or not a piece is authentic.
If there is a return guarantee, I think it is worth a punt.
Cheers, Ade.
Hi Guys,
I don't think that I would have any problems getting my money back if this one turned out to be a dud. The only thing that I am unhappy about now is the lining.
I do have the option of buying a second M43 (below). I am happier with the lining in this one but can't get a good look at the stitching. The wool looks good to me and the Trap has been re- applied.
Would this be less of a gamble???
Thanks Again Guys
Andy
I prefer the lining in the first one actualy but this one also has potential. It would be good to have at least a couple of close up photos of some of the details. Some of behind the turn down flaps would be very useful.
Sellers that have nothing to hide are usualy more than willing to take as many photos as you want. If they refuse, probably best to walk away.
Hi Ben, Thanks mate, the seller in question is a great chap, I know there will be no problem with further pictures. I will post them when I get them.
Cheers
Andy
Just realised I know the seller (recognised the fence!) and I think the cap has potential too.
Cheers, Ade.
Thanks for all your help guys!! I will keep ya posted!!
Andy
