Could be some Freikorps/Rotfront/Frontkämpfer cap, see here: Freikorps & Paramilitary Headgear (non-ShB) (post # 9).

I think it is more likely a civilian cap...does have some resemblance to the Rotfront style …..be nice if it was !

I'd suggest joining the Pay forum, click on "Join WRF Club" on the top banner.
This opens up many closed areas of the forum, especially in the Headgear area, a real must for the cap collector.
It's only 25$US a year and is well worth it.
