Need opinions on Luftwaffe Fliegermutze

Hi all!

I'm looking to buy this cap and wanted to get some opinions on the cockade first. It looks a little large and low compared to other examples I've seen. What do you guys think? Anything else about this raise any red flags?

I think I would like to see the eagle a bit better: I wonder if the cap has been restored?

Thanks for the reply Ade. I'll see what I can do regarding better photos of the Eagle. What do you think about the cockade; is the size and placement correct in your experience?

With a size 53 cap the cockade is going to look huge! This is a tiny cap. Eagle may have been re-stitched. NH

A small size does not make it rare. On the contrary, most people search for larger caps. I think the price is reasonable. They usually sell between $175 and $350 depending on condition. It looks really nice and in great condition, Enjoy
