New purchase: Einheitsfeldmutze

A few more photos of the interior of this cap gentlemen as it was crudely repaired in and around the area of the brim I have opened up the cap and have taken a few photos of the interior. I as well have applied a M43 trapazoid I purchased a few weeks ago and have resewn the cap closed I am no closer in knowing the origins of this cap than what I was two months ago and I would like to know if it is destined to be just a display piece in my collection or is it of Third Reich Period. I have done as much research as I can and it is still a mystery to me .
