Insignia looks fine to me, but Im not the person to judge if the beret is real. However, it looks good to me!

Dave, It certainly looks the part, an exceptional piece, I do not have the expertise to judge......but if I had to, I would give it the thumbs up ! If it turns out to be genuine, a great find

Inside, i see the rubber parts are missing(6).
For the beret, there is onedetail when you look throuh theberet. I don't remember.

Thanks for replies guys and Lebus that's a nice find  as for mine having rubber grommets missing would that be a serious issue to it ? Cheers Dave

I have owned three of these over the years, all by Lubstein. Your beret looks fine from the pictures. The top should be in a circular weave ending in the center with the tassle sticking up.
