Panzer Einheitsfeldmuetze SS cap - is this real?

i was given this by a friend, wondering if its real.. I have done some research, but need the help of experts.

The SS rune buttons are a complete fantasy for this form of cap. Total 4th Reich product. At least you lost no money was lost on it.

That does not necessarily make the troll a fake. Pre-1938 SS Trollen had green hair such as this however there should always be an RZM stamp on the left foot.

I do however believe that this particular SS-Troll is a well-known fake of one of these early types of SS-VT examples.

The hat is bad too.
