Pith and goggles. Opinions?

What is your thoughts on this 1st pattern pith and the goggles?

well its been a long time since I have handled one in person. I hope I am wrong but,it does not seem correct to me.

What have caught my eye is that the leather rim on the skirt looks like made an hour ago. Thank you for you opinion

It is a Luftwaffe that has been rebadged for the Heer, the combination of tan leather trim and strap with a green fabric under the brim are typical and you can also see the holes where the Luftwaffe eagle used to be. I think the trim is ok, it is just a nearly mint example.

It doesn't look good to me , on mine the air vent has a logo on the in side . Also the goggles are , British anti gas goggles , Rommel wore a pair in North Africa , and made them famous .

Thank you yet again Jerry. I also wondered why the extra holes are there. The helmet looking almost unissued. LW never came to mind
