Re: Police Tschako help
I remember many years ago now, visiting the Ripley's Museum out in San Francisco. They had in a glass case an iron ring. From the placard beneath it, it told how it was used in Army recruiting many many years before. Apparently, the point (bad pun, I know) was the examining doctor would place the ring on top of the potential recruit's head and would then measure to see how much-if any-of the man's head would protrude through and above the ring. Anything more than a teeny amount showing meant "Pin Head" and No admittance. As Robert Ripley would say...."Believe it...or Not!"
