Polizei Shako opinions please?

Hey guys what do you think, the detail looks good on the eagle but im not quite sure???

Hi

First point is the rossettes on the side. These are the type of cokade found on picklehaube and are wrong for this shako.

The shako looks a bit odd IMO. The inside looks like a fibre glass type finish. I have seen some repo ones like this at a militaria show this summer so beware.

Not sure about the air vents either, what's the shako covering made off ? The photos make it hard to judge...is it a field grey type cloth ?

On the plus side the liner looks good and it has correct green underneath for the peak. Eagle also looks ok.

Any maker marks? they will be found on the inside top of the shako.

Beware any stamps on the liner itself especially eagles....dates are ok.

Personally I'd let this one go unless it's super cheap as there are better ones out there.
