I have a chance to pick this up as part of a trade... What do you guys think? Looks okay to me but again I am not an expert so I thought I would ask before I made the move.

I had one identical to this back in the 60's. I am sure it is 100% period original.

Hello,
I had her little sister in hands some time ago....of course it's legit....
I've once had a color film of some huge column of PoWs in 1945, the camera goes up the column then the operator stops and he captures the image of three Heer soldiers, all three wearing the same "HBT" cap, but with Heer trapezoid sewn on......never had the title or anything....it was on a videotape that died long time ago...only thing i know is that Pows were guarded by GIs...
