I recently got my hands on a waffen ss cap. I was wondering if it is a real one and which type it is.

Looks bad IMO. Piping and cords are wrong, also the peak.

Hi, I must agree with the others thus far, no good. this site has many, many images of the real item that this one is trying to be. Thanks to FB and others, we all can see the true quality of the genuine articles, which this is far from.

Must agree with Kevin123. If you compare and contrast with the numerous images of SS hats easily found using the search icon,you will have your answer.

No, not real. It is a BRD Poseur--meaning a postwar cap made in in the Federal Republic of Germany that has had fake TR badges added to it.
