Reichsbahn Cap

Hi This cap was in a collection I purchased a few years ago. I think it is original insignia attached to a post war cap. I was searching the forums and I couldn't find any photos of Reichbahn personal wearing field caps but I did find a few Reichbahn traps. Why have a trap insignia if they didn't wear field caps.
