Reichsleitung visor cap

I need some advice on a political leader's visor cap before i bid. My lack of expertise and condition of cap scare me. Also thanks for your forum its been a great educational tool for me.

This is an excellent example of a very evident mistake made by the faker. The white RZM tag was replaced by the brown tag by 1936. This is representing a Form 4 cap which would not have been made prior to the inception of the final uniform extablished in mid 1939.

That's likely a stinker, unfortunately. The tag is out of chronology with the cap itself as Bob says.

The subject cap also does not incorporate the saddle form of the final pattern caps. Note the difference in shape with this cap.
