IMHO this cap has several issues - the interior is more than peculiar (sweatshield with "stamp" - looks like hand painted - and extra-holes, black thread, lining etc.). It looks like an artificially aged repro-cap. Hopefully the specialists will contradict me. I don't know a thing about insignia but the wings are sewn to the centerband through a hole and not fixed by splints (which was done when the splints broke but only as an exeption to the rule).
