if you're a collector, you are going to find it rough sledding indeed if you can't stop long enough to give respectful consideration to the quality of the source of opinions you encounter here. some of these opinions come from collectors with experience going back as far as the year i was born. at 50, i can say a track record like that has to be taken seriously.

I think if I had 25,000 dollars or Euro's laying around I'd pay a hunk off of my parents mortgage, There are better uses for money other than blowing it on a quality cap from Nowak Antiques..

This poster still has,nt replied as to why he posted this cap as being found in a barn along with some other very dubious items, also Dutchie, please accept that you are in no way an experienced cap collector or you would realise that this cap , if it was genuine would be vastly underpriced at $25,000, you can buy a decent SS helmet for that, do you honestly think that one of Hitlers caps would cost the same, you are deluding yourself and making yourself look rather foolish, please for your own sake learn some humility and courtesy and accept that you are dealing with experts, some of whoms collections grace some of the reference books that are used by many collectors and some who have had the very rare priviledge of handling some of the rarest caps on the planet , including Hitler caps
