Slightly mothy Luft M43 cap?

Fairly cruddy pics from seller (blow one up), not the best looking cap, some mothing, but maybe authentic? Eagle's head look off, I'm not seeing any detail. Why am I seeing items that seem to read RFnr instead in of RBnr? I've done some resizing, sharpening of the pics to help look this one over, as much as it can help.

I've had read that article pretty thoroughly in the past and saved it, missed it somehow.

By late 1944 the Rb nummer started to be written as RF Nr with the same usual 9 digit code. This appears to be simply a change of name to Reich Fabrik Nummer. Once again, older collector’s speculation on this RF number was that these were only given to factories outside the Reich. This has proved to be false.
