SS crusher for review

Hello guys. Can I have some opinions here on this crusher visor please? I was able to lift up the skull which is marked M1/52. The eagle is marked M1/72.
Could this one have a chance? Thanks in advance.

Just for starters, my friend, you notice the gabardine cap cover and the bottom Besatz of what looks like overcoat cloth...???...!!!

That is the 3 cm piece of cloth beneath the bottom most piping?

Shea has an image of a real one of these in the book on soft head wear in the SS. Look at that picture.

The piping is a dead give away, too. It was not executed by a professional cap maker.

Yes, just like hundreds of others I have seen. They are a plague.

Don't take my word for it, though, do ask Mr. Stonemint or one of the other persons on this score.

Also, the reverse of the peak is not the asphalt treated leather that is also mostly the norm with such leather peaks.

I do own a lot of caps with leather peaks.
