    Fez might be real. Tons were found unused when Dachau was liberated.

    But the question to ask your self....beyond the originality of the skull and eagle (I will let others with experience confirm) what do you see that is odd about the combination?

    The answer is why is the wear/patina so different?

    For years the insignia were removed from these Fez's as they were worth a lot of money and added to other headgear.

    I do not collect these, nor do I specialize in SS insignia, but the TK and skull do not match.
    Also, the swaz is off on the eagle.

    I don't like the eagle but I do think the skull is authentic. Although it doesn't look period applied to me. If the price is cheap I would get it just to salvage the skull
