I don't like the peak. I think the whole thing is bogus and married up with an old cap tin.

Pics of the inside would be useful.

The one photograph does not provide enough detail for anyone to offer an intellegent opinion. I agree with Ade on the peak, I have never seen the peak of a rigid kepi bent back like this one.

Looks like one of the current artificially-aged Danziger skulls. Looks like a re-skinned French kepi. No go.

For orientation, for what litttle it is worth. The Shea Beaver book as well as the Saris book have many illustrations of authentic Kappen of this kind, it is no longer much of a struggle with the proper illustrations....

Thanks for the replies gents, it does look a bit French looking. Someone is going to a lot of trouble pushing this stuff out recently.
