They sure were proud of that eagle. I wonder if that is the same type that was used on the NSSK crash helmet?

I am sure it is as it has the vertical swastika found on the early sturzhelm eagle.

Hello Stonemint,
Have just acquired a 2nd Leib Garde Krätzchen and, Judging from the 2nd Leib Garde Krätzchen in the above photo, it appears that i have the very same cap, e.g. chips to the paint on the Kokarden. If you no longer have the cap can/will you provide some provenance. What was your source for the cap, and any opinion you you have re: the cap.
