Anyway, here's the first photo evidence I've ever seen of a waffenfarbe cap worn in a camp. Quite remarkable.

"SS Unterscharfuehrer Victor Ritschek, a camp guard at Plaszow"

Interestingly, there is a direct connection between Oskar Schindler and Victor Ritschek.

Very interesting, Ben, the images of this smiling man. Maybe the cap was made by the slaves, and all of them (those he tormented, himself, and his cap) perished and turned to dust.
