The WW I EK I bought from Der Rittmeister, I paid $1500 for the grouping. I took a loss on that. The Pour Le Merite was a super looking 20-30s item could of gotten a lot more on consignment. Sorry if you disagree with my final prices.

I'll be at the Cobb county show this weekend if anyone wants an in hand inspection.
All the caps listed in the pinned threads are either outright fakes or have had their credibility questioned on this forum (or others).
In any event, I am still waiting for the for the "under the hood" shots I asked for over a month ago.....
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
& if you are in Georgia, why does it show the item is originating as:
"Item location: Rosamond, California, United States"
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
& if it is, as you say, "Stitching is original and well done with no signs of funny business. The cap is 100% original and is almost impossible to find under $10K", then WTH is this?:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
& what is all this crap behind the grommet?:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
The stitching was put there to hold the sweatband in place. The cotton thread is has deteriorated and falling apart . There is a vent hole behind the skull I'll try for a better pic tonight. Painful to see someone has crudely stitched straight through the sweatband in such a sloppy way.
The original thread that held the sweatband to the cap is falling apart. I hope this makes sense.
& what about this area:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
