If you are serious about collecting visors, it would behoove you to become a gold member all for the incredible cheap price of $25 annually. You will get access to a vast database of examples to study and learn from. These database threads have taken countless hours by Stonemint and others to compile.

I would also recommend as a beginner to purchase Gary Wilkens The Collectors Guide to Cloth Third Reich Military Headgear. I have been told that it has some flaws (which every book has) but these are minor and are far surpassed by the wealth of information it provides.
